Players can take on Wilderness Slayer tasks, which offer additional rewards. Completing these tasks grants extra Slayer points compared to regular tasks, and these points can be spent on a variety of useful items. Additionally, there's an increased chance of receiving Archaic Emblems while completing Wilderness Slayer tasks, making it an even more lucrative option.
In the Wilderness, players can obtain blighted versions of food resources, which can be used anywhere on the map in DMMPS. In addition to food, monsters in the Wilderness also drop items like blighted potions and blighted rune sacks, which are only obtainable by defeating Wilderness monsters, making these resources valuable for survival and combat throughout the game.
Players can also take on regular Slayer tasks. While they offer fewer points upon completion compared to Wilderness Slayer tasks, many valuable end-game items are obtainable through regular Slayer. This includes powerful gear like the Abyssal Whip, Occult Necklace, Trident of the Seas, and more, making it a great option for players looking to gear up for high-level content.
While doing Slayer, whether it's Wilderness or regular Slayer, players will have a chance to receive Slayer Caskets as loot. Every monster you defeat while on a Slayer task has the potential to drop these caskets. They serve as a primary source of gold income on DMMPS, making them a key reward for those grinding Slayer tasks. Slayer Caskets provide a valuable gold reward, giving between 5,000 and 15,000 gold when opened.
Additionally, there's a hidden uncut gemstone droptable available from all monsters, regardless of whether you're on task. These gemstones can be crafted into jewelry, which can then be sold on the Grand Exchange for a substantial profit!
The same applies to Herblore secondaries. These can also drop from all monsters, regardless of task status. Collecting these items can be valuable for crafting potions and can potentially be sold on the Grand Exchange for a good profit.
