Getting started

Upon entering the game, you'll find yourself in bracket I. To help you get oriented:

Talk to Skippy: Your first task is to speak with Skippy. He will give you a brief introduction to DMMPS, explaining the basics of the game and its unique mechanics.

Choose Your Starting Location: After the introduction, Skippy will give you the option to pick your starting location. Choose wisely based on your preferred playstyle and strategy.

Varrock Museum & Security Stronghold: Complete the Security Stronghold to claim a reward of 60,000 coins. This is a great way to secure some extra funds early on. Visit the Varrock Museum and speak to Historian Minas. He will reward you with two free experience lamps, which you can use to boost any skill of your choice (level 30 requirement)

Receive Your Starter Kit: You’ll receive a starter kit as soon as you begin. This kit includes some useful starting gear to give you a head start in the game, as well as a Tier 1 Sigil.

Claim a New Kit Every 12 Hours: Remember, you can claim a new starter kit every 12 hours, so make sure to log in regularly to maximize your resources.

Once you open your starter kit, head over to the equipment tab. In the tab, you'll find the sigils informative box, where you can choose one of the three powerful starting sigils:

  • Sigil of the Ruthless ranger

  • Sigil of the Formidable fighter

  • Sigil of the Menacing mage

Important Sigil Rules

  • Non-Transferable Between players: These starting sigils cannot be traded directly from player to player.

  • Tradeable in the grand exchange: However, you can trade them through the Grand Exchange once eligible.

  • Bracket II Requirement: The starting sigils cannot be traded in the Grand Exhcnage until you reach bracket II.
